Hydraulics Technician

Newport Hydraulics is a marine and industrial hydraulics firm specializing in the service, repair, and installation of advanced hydraulic systems aboard yachts of all sizes. Our work supports critical onboard functions including high-powered winches, thrusters, trim systems, and specialized sailing features. We offer a unique opportunity to work directly on a large variety of racing yachts, superyachts, and large power vessels. Position Requirements We are seeking candidates who demonstrate: -Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability -Proficiency with power and hand tools -A professional, methodical, safety-minded approach to technical work -Effective time-management skills and the ability to work independently -A commitment to continuous learning and high-quality craftsmanship -While prior hydraulic experience is preferred, we are willing to train motivated individuals who bring a strong work ethic and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude. The skills gained in this role are highly transferable and extend well beyond day-to-day marine applications. Compensation: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
