Job Description
Lippincott Marine Canvas & Metalwork in Newport, RI, is seeking a skilled Marine Canvas Sewer to join our team. We specialize in custom canvas and metalwork solutions for boats of all sizes, providing high-quality craftsmanship to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sew marine canvas for boat covers, enclosures, biminis, dodgers, and other custom projects
- Operate industrial sewing machines and other tools
Qualifications:
- Experience in marine canvas sewing or similar upholstery work preferred
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to read and follow patterns and templates
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Marine industry experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
- Pay based on experience
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
