Job Description
Wichard Groupe North America is looking to add to its Customer Service team. This is an onsite position located at our head office in North Kingstown, RI. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our dynamic sales team. This customer-facing role is pivotal to the success of Wichard Groupe and its brands, as it is often the first contact for customers and end-users.
Wichard Groupe North America is a leading importer of hardware for marine, industrial, aerospace, and other industries with manufacturing facilities in France, Denmark, Australia, and Indonesia.

Responsibilities
- First point of contact for inbound calls
- Process sales orders from email, EDI, web customers, and phone
- Support trade customers and end-users with product information, order inquiries, and aftersales service.
- Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to customer inquiries regarding quotes, orders, status, complaints, returns, and warranties
- Engage with customers in an inviting, friendly, and professional manner to deliver exceptional experiences and nurture lasting relationships
- Provide accurate and complete information on product availability, ship date and expected arrival dates of products from our various factories
- Follow company guidelines and procedures for communications with minimal supervision
- Recommend improvements to company processes for efficiency
Expected Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent, College Degree preferred
- Extreme attention to detail with computer processing and accounting
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Teams and other basic computer functions
- Experience with a high-level ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and 3rd party EDI programs a plus
- Bi/Multilingual preferred (Spanish and/or French)
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Sailing or boating experience is beneficial but not required
