Operations & Production Associate – Zim Sailing (Bristol, RI)

About the Role
Zim Sailing is looking for a hands-on, motivated Operations & Production Associate to join our team at our Bristol facility. This role is perfect for someone handy with tools, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in doing high-quality work. You’ll be working with our core product—small sailboats—from assembly to packaging, ensuring every boat leaves our facility in pristine condition.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. No one works alone here—success is a group effort, and you’ll play an important role in helping us meet our goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate tools and machinery (from hand drills to presses)

  • Assemble parts and boat components

    • Building standing rigging

    • Ability to fit out masts 

    •  

  • Inspect boats and parts for quality and accuracy

  • Prepare, package, and secure boats for shipment

  • Load and unload trucks and shipping containers

  • Move, lift, and load boats (up to 75 lbs)

  • Assist with warehouse organization and workflow

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset

  • Willingness to work hard in a physical, active role

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Forklift experience a plus (but we’ll train if needed)

Compensation & Benefits
